Our founders, alongside a team of some 50 business owners educate and mentor small business owners on how to quickly scale their businesses.

Orlando Espinosa

Orlando Espinosa is a dynamic leader and educator dedicated to empowering business owners and entrepreneurs. As an award-winning instructor for the SBA Miami Emerging Leaders program since 2016, Orlando has earned national recognition as a top instructor with Interise. His initiatives, including record-setting alumni meetings, have fostered collaboration and growth among small businesses.

Through his role as co-founder of Emineo Media, Orlando develops and implements impactful curriculums—such as CEO Minded, Step Up Your Start-Up, and Mission Possible—helping organizations and businesses enhance their branding, leadership, and marketing strategies. His work spans partnerships with institutions like SBDC @ FIU, Miami Bayside Foundation, and numerous government agencies across Florida.

A sought-after speaker and trainer, Orlando has delivered workshops nationwide on topics such as financial literacy, entrepreneurship, and leadership, benefiting both businesses and aspiring professionals. His earlier achievements include spearheading Sallie Mae Fund’s nationally recognized "Paying for College Bus Tour" and co-founding MICROscholarships Inc. to support student entrepreneurs.

A graduate of Lee University (B.A. Communication) and Nova Southeastern University (M.Ed.), Orlando is a two-time recipient of the U.S. Small Business Advocate of the Year award. Known for his charisma and passion, he leaves a lasting impression on everyone he meets.

Dr. Karen Vieira


Dr. Karen Vieira is a medical scientist, entrepreneur, and advocate for health and wellness. With a Ph.D. in Biomedical Sciences and an M.S. in Management from the University of Florida, as well as a B.S. in Biological Sciences from Florida Institute of Technology, Dr. Vieira combines scientific expertise with business acumen.

Her career spans groundbreaking research in sickle cell disease, nutritional science, and gene therapy, including leading a $10 million joint venture while at Kraft Foods. Passionate about improving lives, she founded The Med Writers

in 2007, a medical writing company specializing in scientific publications, health content creation, and dietary supplement formulation. Under her leadership, the federally certified 8(a), WOSB business has served high-profile clients such as Johnson & Johnson, Merck, and Abbott Informatics.

An award-winning leader and advocate, Dr. Vieira was named SBA South Florida District Woman-Owned Small Business Person of the Year in 2018. Beyond her professional work, she volunteers as a sickle cell advocate and health coach, leveraging her personal journey and scientific background to empower individuals and businesses alike.

Scott Tubbs

Scott Tubbs is a results-driven professional based in Tampa, Florida, with a proven track record in leadership, sales, and business development. Renowned for his ability to drive growth and manage high-value accounts, Scott has successfully led initiatives that generated billions in sales volume and achieved transformative results in competitive markets.


With expertise in strategic planning, team building, and relationship management, Scott has spearheaded market turnarounds, increased sales by triple digits across key segments, and consistently exceeded organizational objectives. His strengths in advanced decision-making, sales forecasting, and negotiation have earned him accolades such as “Deal of the Year” and “Salesperson of the Year.”


Scott is passionate about empowering teams, fostering client partnerships, and driving sustainable growth, making him a leader who delivers measurable impact and lasting success.

Elizabeth Zuleta

Elizabeth Zuleta is the founder and CEO of

Zulubots, a robotics company pioneering assistive robots for home and commercial use. With a B.S. and M.S. in Robotics Engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute (WPI), Elizabeth has dedicated her career to designing innovative solutions that enhance daily life.

Her flagship invention, the Carrli—a robot designed to assist disabled individuals and the elderly with carrying and lifting objects—is currently patent-pending. Elizabeth’s work is informed by extensive research and collaboration with medical professionals, ensuring her designs address real-world needs.

A passionate advocate for STEM education, Elizabeth has created and led robotics programs at Miami Dade College and local high schools, inspiring the next generation of innovators. She has mentored teams in prestigious competitions like BattleBots and contributed to national initiatives, including the DARPA Robotics Challenge. Her company, Zulubots, has gained recognition as a finalist in the Miami Herald Business Plan Challenge, a participant in Babson’s WIN Lab Miami Accelerator, and the 2017 Project Entrepreneur Intensive.

Elizabeth is an alumna of the 2018 SBA Emerging Leaders Program and a sought-after speaker, having presented at institutions like UM, FIU, and national conferences. With a commitment to community impact and technological advancement, she continues to expand Zulubots while empowering others to achieve success in robotics and beyond.
